For a change, we are going to talk about music instead of TV shows. After the Artic Monkeys and Lily Allen, there’s an other musician that has been discovered on MySpace: Kate Nash. I really like the melodies of her songs, and the lyrics are pretty funny. Also, her accent is absolutely delectable.
Here’s the song I have been listening to non-stop the last couple of days:

It’s been five weeks now that the strike against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) began… and it is still not over!
Let’s sum up the situation …
The strike involves over 12,000 writers against the AMPTP which is a trade organization that represents the interests of America film and television producers. During the three first weeks, there was no negotiations between the two parties. They resumed the negotiations on the November, 26th, during four days. Hollywood studios made then a proposal that writers rejected. Still isn’t enough! They will resume the negotiations on the December, 4th…
Considering the rumors… the strike could last nine months…

For a couple of weeks, TV writers have been menacing to strike. Now they are actually doing it, and some very popular shows might be stopped prematurately! I wouldn’t care if it involved soap operas like the young and the restless, but Heroes and Lost are menaced!
Here’s Jon Stewart quickly summing up the reasons of the strike:

Even though it hasn’t come back on screen right now, I’m going to give you latest news about your favorite TV-Show: LOST. As you might know, Lost’s fourth season production has already begun and will consist in 16 episodes (instead of the usual 24) broadcast every week on ABC from February to May 2008. But why? Why does Lost start in February while other TV-shows are already on the screen? Well, unlike Prison Break, Heroes and DH, Lost episodes will be shown without repeats, which mean there won’t be any break of one or two months during the broadcast. It’s worth waiting isn’t it?
So basically, Lost’s 4th season will reveal lots of important mysteries which have been developped in the previous seasons, like the black smoke, connections between characters, Jacob, the four-toed statue. The insertion of flash-backs and flash-forward will make the narrative even more complex than before as we’ll discover the past, present and future of the characters at the same time.
I’ve been following Lost ince the beginning, I am a real fan and I can tell you that this season is what every Lost fans were waiting for. At last,we will have answers to all our questions.
Here are two small teasers of season 4:
(the second actually resumes the situation on the island at the end of season 3)

This weekend, I saw Death to a Funeral, a recently released movie. It’s a very funny English comedy whose entire plot takes place during a funeral. You might wonder how a movie with such a setting can be humorous, but just to give you an idea, the story starts with the hearse bringing the wrong coffin… There’s also quite a lot of action that takes place because of a bottle of Valium actually containing a powerful hallucinogen (the poster gives you an idea of what happens to one of the characters).
